Found running across the main road in Killiney, county Dublin. Very gentle and friendly dog was obviously someones pet, coat isn't in great shape (quite dirty and hair on his face is very long and covering alot of his eyes) so it might have been missing for a while. An orange and green parakeet was seen in South Finglas (Westwood Road) this evening (4 May 2014). I was unable to catch the bird and it flew off but I'm hoping someone will recognise the description it will help them to narrow their search. Orange-yellow head, body and back, dark green wings and tail.

Could you post this info on your page please... I live on Anne St., in Dundalk. On Sunday 11th at about 8 o'clock the neighbours and I heard some commotion on the street and went outside to investigate. A young black dog possibly around a year old and what appeared to be a lab/collie mix had been hit by car and had run off in shock. A few of us went looking for the dog and eventually found it by the train station. He was badly hurt on one of his back legs and was unable to walk. We finally convinced a vet to come out and McGuinness came and he gave the dog a painkiller. Two other people that live on Anne St brought the dog to McGuinness's vets and McGuinness examined the dog and said that his back leg is shattered and it will cost a lot to repair it. The dog is not microchipped and had no collar, but what looked to be a belt or rope of some sort which was loosely tied around the dog's neck. Unfortunately, I have my own dog and so I can not claim him as I don't have room. Hopefully the owners might recognize the dog as being theirs from the description given as I think the vet is going to put him down if nobody claims responsibility for him. I hope someone does claim him and he is a lovely gentle dog and let us pet him despite his bad injury.

My cat has been missing from the Stillorgan area, in Co.Dublin. He is a large ginger cat, with slightly crossed yellow eyes. He has no collar but he is microchipped. The chip is kinda hard to find though, and takes a bit of looking before it is found. He's a really friendly cat, and he is very missed.
Our cat Joe has been missing since Monday. He's a small enough black cat who's quite shy of people he doesn't know, so probably won't come to you. The photo was taken 6 months ago, since then an inch of his tail half way along was shaved and has mostly grown back, but it is easy to see where it was shaved. It looked kind of like a poodle tail last time I saw him.
