Dear Social Network Generation, I’ve lost my Smartphone Samsung S9 in the Oliver St. John Gogartys Pub in Dublin on February 8th. Unfortunately, it wasn’t given to any of the stuff members or the Oliver St. John Gogartys Hostel next to the Pub. I find it really sad that in a time where everybody owns a Smartphone and knows the value of it a person is not willing to return it. The Smartphone was immediately turned off so we had no chance to locate it. The phone itself is not as important as all the pictures I took in Dublin and around Ireland and unfortunately I lost it before the regular backup process of my Samsung cloud was completed. This is a plea to the person who found my phone to think about it one more time and see if he or she really needs the Smartphone so urgently. Obviously you had a enough money to get to Dublin and buy yourself a bunch of Guiness that night so I would assume you can also afford a Smartphone. Thanks! Jasmin

Lost Monday December 17th just after 1:10 pm. I hopped out of my car twice, once on Cambridge Road and a few times along Mount Pleasant. I saw a little girl on the back of a bike drop her spongy toy. I jumped out of my car to try and get the attention of the cyclist and then dropped the toy back on Mount Pleasant at which point I realised that I no longer had my phone. I have a lot of precious audio interviews of my children which I never backed up. Please help!!!

I guess I lost my golden Huawei P8 Lite as I got in the Taxi in Maryfield Crescent, Dublin, in the early morning. My friend and I drove to O'Connell Street Upper for a bus tour to Giant's Causeway. We searched in the taxi but couldn't find it, so I think someone must found it on the street. It's muted (of cource). We went to local shops in case someone leave it there, but noone did. When I tracked the location it was last seen in Balbriggan so believe that might be where the taxi man lives. It's navy samsung but in a white cover with bit of grey on the cover. Friend lost his phone Saturday night (Sep 22.) He left Coppers around 2am and realised it was missing when he was on O'Connell street - could be anywhere around/between there. It's an iPhone 8 plus, silver/white. Can't remember the lockscreen but the screen will be covered in messages if still on. (Case may be removed and phone may be dead, but it's an iPhone 8 plus silver/white back and white front - please be on the lookout for anything that looks anything like that.) While hiking Connor Pass I found iPhone (purchased around May, 2018) on August 29th. I brought it back to Canada with me to see if the local Mac store could help determine who the owner is - thinking it could belong to another tourist and I'd be sending it back to its rightful owner anywhere from Canada or the U.S. to Italy or Australia. Turns out it's an Irish-owned phone, or at least it was purchased there. I'm resorting to posting on local lost & found pages because I hit an impasse with the Irish distributor. While they tracked the retail outlet that sold the phone they cannot disclose the purchaser's name or address due to privacy protocols. Would be nice if they could at least relay MY information to the owner but perhaps they'd rather sell original purchaser a new phone (?) Just trying to reunite the phone with its owner. Anyone able to describe phone & lock screen gets their phone back. Once again, phone located above main parking lot at Connor Pass, Co. Kerry.
