My fiancee's Sam Murray wooden Flute was stolen out of my car on Sunday night(08/1017) between 18:40 and 19:00. Near Heuston Station outside Guiness on the quays. They broke a window and rooted around and found it. It is in a black case with two "foghorn string band" stickers on it. It is irreplaceable and she has had it for 20 years. Cash reward offered. We just want the flute back. A dark green bag with my space grey ipad pro 12.9 inch(s.n- DLXTW0XBHPJ4) and apple pencil were also taken. I am traveling from Canada and two days ago (Sunday, November 12th) my red backpack went missing and can not relocate it. It went missing between the times of 7AM and 8AM between the MEC hostel on North Great George's St and somewhere on Gardiner row from that street to Mount Joy Square Park. I have looked at security footage from a couple places, and I had the backpack at MEC around 7AM but realized it missing just after 8AM near Mount Joy Square Park, so it was all within a few hundred meters. The backpack says MJB on the back, it contains a grey laptop (windows 8) with my travel photos from the past year, thousands of photos. It also has a black Canon 1200D SLR camera inside with a black case and multiple CS cards. It also has a small blue toiletry bag inside with my inhalers and my Working Holiday Visa was in the bag as well. The computer with my photos though is the most important thing as they can not be replaced. If you had seen it, know anything suspicious about anywhere during that time, know of anyone trying to sell the camera or can help out in any sort of way, whether it's sharing the post, advice on other sites to look on, or helping me replace some of my belongings, that would mean the world to me! Walked from Luas Stop to Dunville AVE to Black Church and then cut down to Swan Shopping Centre. I did a few things in Rathmines, walked back up, on to Upper Rathmines Rd and then Maxwell Rd. Around Dunville a banana fell from my bag and a kind lady spotted what had happened. Maybe before or after that the phone also fell from my bag. I Have already checked Luas and premises I visited. Lost in IKEA Dublin on Sunday 8th Sept 2024 around 1-2pm. A small, yellow paper bag with two small teddies inside, one pig and one bunny. Also in the bag was a little doll sized purple backpack. Probably left down in the living room area, in one of the set up rooms such as the children's playroom. Piggy is pink with scratched eyes and a home made cardboard jacket. Flower Bunny is beige, well worn and wearing a purple barbie dress. They are our children's absolute favourite, life-long teddies and go everywhere with them. Kids are devastated. We spent two hours searching the store but no sign. Staff and customer service have not found them. Maybe another child picked them up by accident and took them home. Dublin DO2 YK37, at 1:15am on Wednesday 22nd October 2025. I entered the takeaway 10 minutes earlier, left the bag on the floor under a table/ledge, beside the base of a stool. I left it unattended for around 1-2 minutes when I went up to the counter, and I noticed 2-5 minutes after I returned that it was missing. I suspect it was stolen from this location during this time.

my bike (Town Cube) was stolen in front of Aldi Store, along Parnell Street, in the city center of Dublin, Ireland on 9 April 2013 between 12:00 - 1:00 pm. been on the shop for about 10-15 minutes and zap! bike was gone, locks cut, destroyed. reported the incident to the Garda, still waiting for response if they have checked the cctv w/ Aldi store for any clue, etc. i surmise the thieves are there all the time waiting for their victim. i wonder if the city could post notices on bike stands, rails like this: "BEWARE OF BIKE THEFT. LOCK YOUR BIKES AS SECURELY AS POSSIBLE." it sounds embarrassing but i gather bike thief is rampant in the city these days; i surf the web after this incident and noticed a lot of reports on bicycle theft, seems to happen everyday. the Garda told me they simply don't have the resources to prevent this, thus we should raise an awareness campaign for cyclists. if the city can post notices on the streets about bagging the pooh of dogs on the streets, why not about bicycle theft? we have a cycle to work campaign, now we have to protect the bikes, too.
I got on the bus at Dublin Airport on Saturday 13/04/13 at approximately 2pm. I placed my small black suitcase (cabin baggage) into the hold before getting on the bus. The first stop was Virginia (approx 3pm) where some passengers got off, the next stop was Cavan (approx 3.30pm) where I was getting off, only to realise that my suitcase was gone from the hold. At first I thought that someone had taken it by mistake but I took the driver's phone number and phoned him later in the evening and he said there was nothing left on the bus when all the passengers had got off in Donegal. I have been in contact with the Gardai at the Airport, Virginia and Cavan, but nothing has been found yet. I suspect that it was stolen somewhere along the way. Hey my backpack was stolen from bushes close to the Dublin Ferry Terminal 2 (Stena Lines). I dropped it there and hit it but somebody must have found it.
