Found a ladies ring this morning along Appian Way. Looks like it might be an engagement ring.
Both were vintage rings. The wedding band has vd and ?b 1924 inscribed on it. The engagement ring is just your average vintage engagement ring with small diamonds in it. These rings were stolen from a house in Killiney last Friday.

This is a long shot but on NYE 2011 I lost an extremely sentimental white gold ring. I'm really not sure if it is very valuable as it was my Nanas and I only wore on special occasions. We were in the Osprey that night for a meal and drinks and couldnt get a taxi after as snow was so bad. We walked from Osprey Hotel up as far as the Maxol on the Blessington Road where we eventually got a taxi man to take us home to Blessington. I think the ring fell off somewhere along the route or else in the taxi. I wasnt able to locate the driver that took us that night. Any information would be so much appreciated! This is an obvious long shot but somebody might come across this. I lost 2 rings together about 6 years ago somewhere in south Dublin. One was a small gold plated engagement ring with the above engraving inside. It had 5 small diamonds (chips) on the top. It was of very little value, but big sentimental value. The other ring was silver with a twist detail at the top and was engraved on the inside 'BFF Love Claire 1999' (I think...its been a while!) Anyone knows anything I would be over the moon!

I lost my wedding and engagement rings on Thursday 6th Feb 2014 in the carpark of Supervalu, Donabate, Dublin. I parked my car at the back of the carpark just beside the wall where the dental surgery "Priceless Dental " is. The rings were in a black box and may have fallen out of my bag when I got out of my car around lunchtime yesterday! The wedding ring is engraved "Caroline 25-9-2003" and the engagement ring is an 18ct white gold diamond in the centre with two sapphires either side.
