Stolen Black Backpack from Car
Description
***REWARD - PLEASE SHARE ***
Posted about my car being broken into on facebook and a bag stolen from it Sunday in HOWTH, near St Mary's Church. Nothing of value to anyone is in it but a few personal items, including keys, license etc. A set of rosary beads in particular, has huge sentimental value that I can never replace and this is all I want back. If anyone in the howth area has found these I would be forever grateful. They're light blue in colour and the rest is a dark silver shade as they are old. They may still be in the bag that was stolen: Black leather bag from pennys. One main zip pocket and two small zipped pockets in the front.

How to safely get your item back
A short checklist to protect you and the item during the handoff.
Verify the finder before meeting
- Ask them to describe a detail not shown in your listing, such as an engraving, scratch, or contents.
- Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
- Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.
- Do not share your full address until you have verified them.
Meet in a safe, public place
- Garda stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.
- Meet during daylight hours where there is CCTV and foot traffic.
- Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
- Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
- Share your live location with them during the handoff.
- For high-value items, consider asking your local Garda station for advice first.
Keep communication on Lost.ie
