Blue Adidas Backpack & Macbook

I left my bag in the back of a cab in the early hours of Saturday morning, getting dropped off near the Howth Road in Dublin 3. I was pretty drunk after a works do on Friday night. The bag had my brand new work laptop in it. I am just about to finish my probation period in work and have a meeting on Monday to see if I am getting kept on. Bad situation really. It was a silver Apple Macbook. I have informed the guards and rang Store St. and Irishtown. They inform me that nothing has been handed in. I'd love to think a taxi driver has it and not the next drunken customer who he picked up. Who knows? I would be eternally grateful to anybody who might help me be reunited with it.
